Our Animals

We manage to keep a variety of animals to proved a source of food and some income. The income we receive is sufficient to keep and care for the animals and to give us a small profit that we can use to help run the home. Our chickens provide us with fresh eggs, most of which we are able to sell to pay for the chicken feed. The cows provide fesh milk daily for the boys to drink, and the excess is sold to the local dairy company. We have two pigs, both of which have given birth to piglets which will be sold when they reach six months. The meat company will give us money and pork products in exchange which will give the children a supply of meat and money enough to care for the pigs.
